Now that keeping physical distance has become critical to our safety, I’m working on a project called CLOSE, in which I shoot portraits of willing passersby. I set up the camera 6 feet away from me, and using a remote trigger, I ask the subjects to get close to the lens, so with these portraits, we can get CLOSE to each other again.
